In this educational session, Professor Dilly OC Anumba; Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Honorary Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetomaternal Medicine at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust will discuss the place of ultrasound in the modern management of pre-term birth.
Professor Anumba will discuss the definitions and epidemiology of pre-term birth and the use of ultrasound in prediction and prevention of pre-term birth. Join him as he explores the technical issues and techniques for using ultrasound in the management of those at risk of pre-term birth, and the implications for antenatal management.
