Targeted Prostate Biopsy with MRI–Ultrasound Fusion
Targeted prostate biopsy using MRI–ultrasound fusion has emerged as a key technique for improving the detection of clinically significant prostate cancer. By integrating multiparametric MRI with real time transrectal ultrasound, this approach enhances lesion localization, reduces sampling error, and increases diagnostic accuracy compared with conventional systematic biopsy.
In this webinar Prof. Carlos Nicolau will review fusion technology, procedural workflow, clinical evidence, and practical considerations of this biopsy approach.
