Stroke Under the Probe: Advancing Diagnosis and Management with Ultrasound
Despite comprehensive workup, stroke etiology remains unknown in up to 30% of cases. A significant portion of these are classified as cryptogenic strokes, including the subset known as embolic stroke of undetermined source (ESUS), which might be even more prevalent in younger patients.
