Advanced Neck Ultrasound: A Multiparametric Approach
Accurate diagnosis of neck pathologies remains challenging because the sonographic characteristics of lesions in the thyroid, parathyroid, cervical lymph nodes, and salivary glands often overlap. To address this, a multiparametric advanced neck ultrasound workflow – combining B-mode, Doppler, elastography, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) – adds complementary information that can improve tissue characterization and support diagnostic confidence.
