This course begins in
Putting People First – AI in MRI
ACC Liverpool, Kings Dock, Liverpool Waterfront, Liverpool, L3 4FP
Monday 8th June 2026, 14:00-14:20
This education will take place at UKIO 2026 on Stand A29
Description
This session will showcase Canon’s AI technologies: Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE), Precise IQ Engine (PIQE) and Iterative Motion Correction (IMC). It will demonstrate how they can be implemented to increase SNR and resolution in MRI, leading to improved clinical confidence and patient workflow.
- Describe the principles of AI-based reconstruction and motion correction in MRI, including Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE), Precise IQ Engine (PIQE), and Iterative Motion Correction (IMC).
- Explain how these technologies improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), spatial resolution, and overall image quality in clinical MRI.
- Evaluate the impact of AI-driven techniques on diagnostic confidence and image interpretation in routine practice.
- Apply knowledge of AiCE, PIQE, and IMC to optimise MRI protocols for different patient groups, including those with motion-related challenges.
- Assess how the integration of AI technologies can enhance workflow efficiency and improve patient experience within their own clinical service.
This session has been CPD accredited by The College of Radiographers.
This session will be hosted by Canon Medical Systems UK during UKIO 2026.
